Jan Kalyan Eye Hospital Samiti is a registered society under the Registration of Societies Act XXI of 1860 in the year 1978-1979. It was established on 30h April 1979 with the main objective of providing education Medical, Paramedical, Technical and social services to the deserved population. Medical and Paramedical staff of the Samiti plays crucial role in helping the doctors in making accurate diagnosis and providing optimum treatment to the patients. Coordination between Medical & paramedical staff has been quality & tradition of the Samiti. The field of Paramedical sciences comprises Pharmacy, Optometry, Orthoptics, Sanitation and etc. The Samiti recognizes that in India there is inadequacy of efficient and skillful paramedical staff. To satisfy this deficiency & to aid govt. and other health agencies , The Jan Kalyan Eye Hospital Samiti started the “ Jan Kalyan Eye Hospital Educational Research & Training Institute at Indira Nagar and " Jan Kalyan Institute of Technical Education " at Kursi road and " Institute of Health & Allied Sciences at Sec - 25 , Indira Nagar Lucknow . The U.P. Govt. recognized all the course being run by the Samiti and Institute is affiliated to State Medical Faculty & National Board of Examination and Pharmacy course have been approved by U. P. Board of Technical Education, AICTE and PCI.
